How to Export Foreclosure Data

The entire export process takes under 30 seconds from filtered dashboard to usable spreadsheet. Here is exactly what happens at each step.

1

Apply Your Filters

In the dashboard search, set the state, county, city, property type, date range, and any other filters you want. The export will include exactly the records currently shown in your filtered results — no more, no less.

2

Click Export

Click the Export button in the top-right corner of the search results panel. The export dialog appears showing your record count and available export formats.

3

Choose CSV or Google Sheets

Select CSV for a direct file download, or Google Sheets to push the data into a new spreadsheet in your connected Google Drive. Both options produce the same data — the difference is where it lands.

4

Import Into Your Workflow

Open the CSV in Excel, Numbers, or your CRM's import tool. For Google Sheets, the new spreadsheet is immediately available in your Drive for sharing with your team. Most CRM platforms including PropStream, REI/kit, and Podio accept CSV imports in the standard column format our export produces.

Frequently Asked Questions About Foreclosure Data Export

What columns are included in a foreclosure data export?

Exports include 30+ data columns covering: property address (street, city, state, zip), county, property type, filing type (NOD, lis pendens, auction notice, REO), sale or auction date, owner name, estimated property value (where available), loan amount from filing, lender name, case number, and recording date. The exact columns available depend on the source county — not every county publishes every field — but the export includes all fields present in the matching records.

Is there a limit on how many rows I can export?

On all paid plans, exports are unlimited. You can export your full filtered result set regardless of how many rows it contains. Free trial accounts can export up to 100 properties total across all CSV and Google Sheets exports. Once you upgrade, the cap is removed entirely.

Can I schedule automatic exports to run on a recurring basis?

Automated scheduled exports are on our roadmap. Currently, exports are initiated manually from the dashboard. If you want daily delivery of a specific data slice, the best current workflow is to use email alerts combined with a manual morning export, or to use the CSV download via our API if you are on an API-eligible plan.

Does the Google Sheets export work with Google Drive?

Yes. When you choose Google Sheets export, a new spreadsheet is created in your connected Google Drive account. You can then share it with teammates, move it into a Drive folder, or link it to a Google Data Studio dashboard. The export creates a fresh sheet each time rather than appending to an existing one, so each export is a clean snapshot of your filtered data.

Can I export data for just one county or one city?

Absolutely. The export respects whatever filters are active in your dashboard at the time you click Export. If you have filtered down to a single county, a date range, and a specific property type, only those matching records are included in the file. You can export an entire state, a single zip code, or anything in between.
